Actor-director Rajat Kapoor, known for his film ‘Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa’, shared that managing both acting and directing roles is not a challenge for him. In the movie, where he stars and directs, Rajat expressed ease in handling both aspects simultaneously. He emphasized that the real difficulty lies in orchestrating scenes involving numerous actors to advance the storyline effectively.

When questioned about the dual role of actor and director, Rajat Kapoor clarified that the true challenge is coordinating a large ensemble cast while ensuring each actor receives fair representation on screen. He highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance among the performers to propel the narrative forward seamlessly. Rajat acknowledged that standing in front of the camera is comparatively simpler than orchestrating complex shots involving multiple actors.

Rajat Kapoor emphasized the significance of immersing oneself fully in the universe of each story while transitioning between different directorial projects. He stressed the need to create distinct worlds for each film, citing examples of his varied works like ‘Ankhon Dekhi’, ‘RK/RKay’, and ‘Mithya’. Rajat expressed his aspiration to constantly innovate and explore new territories with each project, aiming for uniqueness in his creative endeavors.

The film ‘Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa’ unfolds during a gathering of friends and family, transitioning from a jovial atmosphere to a tense one after a shocking murder occurs. The narrative delves into themes of suspicion, hidden resentments, and moral dilemmas, disrupting the initial celebratory ambiance. Produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Mithya Talkies, the movie is now available for streaming on Hindi ZEE5 platform.
