Rajeev Khandelwal, on the show “Tum Ho Naa,” revisited Rajesh Khanna’s famous line from the movie “Anand.” During the program, he inquired how contestants planned to utilize the prize money. One contestant, Pooja, expressed her desire to purchase a larger house and use the winnings for a down payment.
Rajeev humorously questioned Pooja’s husband, Kartik, about his financial management skills, jokingly suggesting that men often feel the need to handle everything themselves. He playfully remarked, “Kyunki generally jo aadmi hote hain, unko lagta hai… ‘arre isko kya samajh mein aayega, saara yeh toh mujhe hi karna padega’.”
The actor from ‘Kahiin To Hoga’ pondered, “Aapko lagta hai ki yeh aapse zyada hoshiyar hai uss maamle mein.” Kartik acknowledged that he believes his wife is more intelligent in such matters.
Rajeev then asked Pooja if she had ever surprised her husband unexpectedly. She shared a heartwarming story of saving money while working at a small firm to gift her husband a scooty. Kartik mentioned how this thoughtful gesture changed his daily routine, opting to commute on the scooty instead of the train.
Reflecting on the couple’s story, Rajeev commented, “aap ne abhi ye baat kahi yaha par ki chhoti zindagi hai.” He referenced Rajesh Khanna’s classic dialogue from “Anand,” stating, “Zindagi lambi nahi badi honi chahiye.”
The show, “Tum Ho Naa,” hosted by Rajeev, is set to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television & Sony LIV on Tuesday at 9:00 PM.
