Popular television actor Ram Kapoor recently discussed experiencing “ageism” in the industry along with his wife Gautami Kapoor during a conversation with co-contestant Akanksha Chamola. Akanksha sought support from Ram as she prepared to live separately from her husband Gaurav Khanna, emphasizing the need to establish herself independently.
Ram assured Akanksha of his full support, mentioning that his team would assist her. Akanksha highlighted the significance of age in the entertainment field, noting that actors over 35 are often perceived as too old. She expressed her hopes for more opportunities to secure her future based on her work.
Reflecting on his own and his wife’s challenges, Ram empathized with Akanksha’s situation, stating that Gautami had faced similar struggles. He pledged to help Akanksha navigate through the industry, drawing parallels to his own experiences.
