Veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy and actress Hema Malini recently reminisced about their time on the set of Sholay. Sippy revealed an incident where Dharmendra walked nearly 50 kilometers from his hotel to the shooting location. Hema Malini praised Dharmendra’s dedication, mentioning how he would walk long distances.

Sippy also shared Dharmendra’s fun-loving side, mentioning how he would sometimes mix vodka into coconut water for a boost. Describing Dharmendra’s personality, Sippy highlighted his childlike innocence and quick shifts from playful to serious moods. Dharmendra played the role of Veeru in the iconic 1975 movie Sholay.
