Actor Randeep Hooda emphasizes the importance of staying connected to his roots, believing that language and culture are not hindrances but rather strengths that influence one’s perspective and identity. He has joined a platform dedicated to Haryanvi, Rajasthani, and Bhojpuri storytelling, stating that stories rooted in regional languages and cultural identity hold personal significance for him. Randeep and his wife, Lin Laishram, are expecting their first child, as announced on Instagram, marking a new chapter in their relationship that began at Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group Motley.

Randeep, known for his roles in various films, including the recent “Jaat” alongside Sunny Deol, is gearing up for his upcoming project, the epic war drama “Operation Khukri.” This movie, based on real events from 2000, narrates the gripping tale of 233 Indian soldiers held captive in Sierra Leone and the daring rescue mission that ensued. In the film, Randeep will portray Major General Raj Pal Punia, the hero behind the successful operation amid challenging jungle warfare conditions.
