Filmmaker-actor Randeep Hooda has debuted a striking new appearance for his upcoming period drama biopic ‘Eetha’, featuring a thick moustache and a bulked-up physique. Recently seen in Mumbai post-shoot, the actor’s transformed look has sparked conversations. ‘Eetha’, directed by Laxman Utekar, narrates the story of an early Indian Tamasha/Lavni dancer.
Randeep Hooda’s new avatar is tailored for the period biopic ‘Eetha’, presently in production and co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. While the film’s official details are awaited, Hooda’s look seems to align with the movie’s theme and era. The narrative, set in Maharashtra, aims to spotlight the life of a significant cultural figure.
Apart from ‘Eetha’, Randeep Hooda is set to grace the screen in the war drama “Operation Khukri.” The movie, based on real events from 2000, will depict the Indian Army’s daring rescue mission in Sierra Leone. Hooda will portray Major General Raj Pal Punia, a key figure in the high-stakes operation.
Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are expecting their first child, as announced on Instagram. The couple, who met through Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group Motley, tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Manipur. Their love story, marked by adventures and togetherness during the lockdown, has now taken a new turn with the impending arrival of their little one.
