Actress Rani Mukerji, gearing up for her film “Mardaani 3”, celebrated Makar Sankranti in Gujarat by flying kites and was overwhelmed by the support for her upcoming movie. Starting her promotional tour in Gujarat, she expressed gratitude to the people in Ahmedabad for their love towards “Mardaani”. She joyfully mentioned, “I had a great time flying a kite” during the celebrations.
During her visit, Rani engaged with students at a girls’ college to discuss women’s safety in India and also met with female police officers in the state, appreciating their service to society. The trailer for “Mardaani 3” was unveiled on January 12, where Rani’s character, Shivani Shivaji Roy, embarks on a mission to rescue missing girls in a chilling storyline. The film, directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, is set to hit theaters globally on January 30.
