The Ranji Trophy 2025/26 final will take place at the KSCA Cricket Stadium in Hubballi from February 24, as confirmed by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The decision to host the final in Hubballi was made due to ongoing stadium upgrades in Bengaluru and the aim to decentralize top-level cricket. The KSCA, in consultation with the BCCI, opted for Hubballi to ensure a high-quality match-viewing experience.
The KSCA’s statement highlighted the ongoing improvements at the Hubballi Stadium, including the widening of spectator gates and access points. The move to host the final aligns with the KSCA’s vision to promote cricket across Karnataka by taking major matches to different centers in the state. Karnataka secured a spot in the final after an 11-year gap, while Jammu & Kashmir reached their first-ever final with a remarkable win over Bengal.
Karnataka, making their 15th appearance in the summit clash, has a strong history against Jammu & Kashmir, having won all four previous encounters. The decision to host the final in Hubballi was favored over other venues like the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru due to limitations in broadcasting and seating capacity. Hubballi previously hosted Karnataka’s league fixture against Chandigarh this season.
