Raymond Group Managing Director Gautam Singhania is on the path to recovery following minor injuries sustained in a speedboat accident near Fulidhoo in the Maldives. Singhania’s team confirmed his improving health status. The incident involved a speedboat carrying seven individuals, including five Indians, a British national, and a Russian national, which capsized on Friday.
Two individuals, believed to be Indian nationals, are currently missing, prompting ongoing search efforts. The Maldives National Defence Force’s Male’ Area Command Coast Guard Second Squadron is actively engaged in locating the missing persons. The accident took place approximately two nautical miles southwest of Keyodhoo, as reported by Edition MV citing the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).
Singhania, prior to the mishap, had recently shared Raymond Group’s journey, highlighting the company’s evolution marked by vision, craftsmanship, and a dedication to excellence. Fulidhoo, the location of the incident, is a Maldivian island renowned for its cultural events, marine attractions, diving sites, and picturesque landscapes, including lagoons.
