Real Madrid’s stint as the La Liga leader is in jeopardy as FC Barcelona could overtake them with a win against Levante on Sunday. Real Madrid’s eight-game winning streak came to an end with a 2-1 defeat to Osasuna. Ante Budimir scored for Osasuna from a penalty spot after being fouled by Thibaut Courtois, while Vinicius Jr equalized for Real Madrid before Raul Garcia secured the win for Osasuna in the last minute.

Atletico Madrid fought back from an early goal to secure a 4-2 victory against Espanyol. Alexander Sorloth and Giuliano Simeone contributed to Atletico’s win, with Sorloth scoring twice. Meanwhile, Betis faced a setback in their top-four aspirations with a 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano, marked by two lengthy VAR checks during the match.

Oviedo and Real Sociedad played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, with Eric Bailly’s late header salvaging a point for Oviedo. Despite initially leading comfortably, Oviedo had to rely on Bailly’s goal to secure a draw against Real Sociedad, who almost clinched a remarkable comeback victory.
