A review meeting took place in Vadodara to evaluate preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit before a significant inauguration event on May 11, as stated by Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi. Discussions were led by Sanghavi with local administration officials to assess arrangements for the inauguration of the Sardardham educational complex in Vadodara. The meeting scrutinized preparations in light of the Prime Minister’s anticipated presence.
Preparations for the Prime Minister’s roadshow in Vadodara were inspected during the meeting, along with a thorough review of security measures. Directives were given to police and local administration officers to ensure coordination and implement necessary crowd management, safety, and logistical measures. Prime Minister Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour of Gujarat commencing on May 10.
On May 11, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Somnath Temple in Gir Somnath district, where arrangements are being made for his darshan program. Subsequently, he will proceed to Vadodara to inaugurate the Sardardham Bhavan-3 (Dr Dushyant and Daksha Patel Complex), a substantial educational and residential facility designed for Patidar community students. The complex, with a capacity of approximately 2,000 students, includes hostel amenities, training centers, and educational infrastructure.
The inauguration program, slated for the afternoon, is anticipated to be attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Sanghavi, and other dignitaries. As part of the Vadodara visit, a roadshow is also in the works, with authorities reviewing the route and security preparedness in advance of the event. Various departments in Gujarat have been collaborating on preparations, encompassing traffic management, security deployment, sanitation, and public arrangements, in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s arrival in the state.
