Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav marked his 79th birthday with fervor as party workers and leaders from across the country extended their greetings. Celebrations began with supporters gathering outside his residence in Patna since midnight, presenting roses, cutting cakes, and joining in with a band to commemorate the occasion.
The atmosphere outside the Rabri residence was filled with joy as RJD followers hailed Lalu Prasad Yadav as the “messiah of the poor.” Party workers expressed their deep respect for him, highlighting his role as a guardian figure who has empowered the underprivileged by giving them a voice and representation. They wished him a long life to continue his advocacy for the marginalized.
RJD State President Mangani Lal Mandal and party MLA Bhai Virendra visited Rabri Devi, Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Chief Minister, to convey their birthday wishes. Mandal emphasized the significance of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s leadership in the pursuit of social justice, expressing gratitude for his guidance and inspiration. Bhai Virendra noted that the celebration of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s birthday resonated not only in Bihar but throughout the country, recognizing him as a voice for the disadvantaged.
JD-U national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad and Janshakti Janata Dal leader Tej Pratap Yadav also joined in extending their greetings to Lalu Prasad Yadav. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad wished him a long life and success in leading his party towards serving the people, while Tej Pratap Yadav emotionally acknowledged his father’s influence in his life, describing him as a great leader and guiding force who has shaped his values and principles.
