Roundglass Punjab FC clinched their second win on the RFDL Japan Tour 2026 by defeating Giravanz Kitakyushu 3-1 at Field C. The team continued their impressive goal-scoring form with goals from Omang Dodum, Singamayum Shami, and Vishal Yadav. Giravanz Kitakyushu managed a consolation goal in the 62nd minute.
Punjab FC dominated from the start, controlling possession and attacking the Japanese side aggressively. Omang’s powerful strike in the 37th minute gave Punjab the lead after a period of sustained pressure. Singamayum Shami extended the lead just before halftime with a calm finish, capitalizing on a defensive error.
The first half showcased Punjab FC’s dominance with 57% possession, 10 clear chances, and five shots on target. The team wasted no time in the second half, as Vishal Yadav scored in the 46th minute to make it 3-0. Despite Kitakyushu pulling a goal back, Punjab’s solid defense and midfield control secured a 3-1 victory.
