The assault also impacted barracks housing US personnel at the base, resulting in casualties. Additionally, Iran reported strikes on US bases and assets in Kuwait and Jordan, leading to personnel casualties and significant military losses.
The Iranian army disclosed targeting various US defense systems and facilities in Jordan, including anti-missile systems, radar systems, and fuel storage facilities. Furthermore, Iran destroyed a warehouse storing US helicopter parts and a maintenance silo for American helicopters. Amid escalating tensions, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei mentioned that the US is engaging in indirect communication with Iran through intermediaries, emphasizing the need for conducive conditions for dialogue.
