Hollywood actress Sadie Sink revealed that she gets “very emotional” listening to Kate Bush’s song ‘Running Up that Hill.’ Sink, known for her role in ‘Stranger Things,’ associates the 1985 classic with her character Max Mayfield from the show’s fourth season. Despite the song’s constant presence, Sink explained that she doesn’t tire of it due to the memories it holds.

Sink expressed her feelings about the song in an interview with SFX magazine. She acknowledged the emotional impact the song has on her, given its strong connection to the show. Sink shared that although she doesn’t actively listen to the song in her free time, she still appreciates its quality and the nostalgia it brings.

In the interview, Sink mentioned a scene where her on-screen boyfriend plays ‘Running Up that Hill’ to connect with her character. She described the experience of hearing the song again on set as “weird” initially. Sink reflected on the surreal feeling of revisiting the set and the memories associated with the song’s popularity.

According to ‘Female First UK,’ Sink’s character, Max, finds herself in a dream world called Camazotz, created by Henry Creel/Vecna. Sink expressed missing the on-screen chemistry with her co-star Caleb, as their characters, Max and Lucas, face challenges that prevent them from being together. Sink highlighted the emotional depth of their characters’ bond despite the obstacles they encounter.
