All-rounder Sahil Lotra’s unbeaten 57 guided Jammu and Kashmir to 527/6 at Stumps on Day 2 in the Ranji Trophy Final against Karnataka at the Hubli Cricket Ground. Despite losing two crucial wickets in the second session, Lotra’s aggressive play, including three fours to Prasidh Krishna and Shreyas Gopal, boosted the team’s score.

Lotra, with seven fours, ensured the pressure was off new batter Abid Mushtaq, who supported him well. Lotra reached his fifty off 73 balls in the 150th over. The match saw interruptions due to bad light and rain, with only 11 overs bowled in the final session, during which J&K added 49 runs.

Captain Paras Dogra’s contribution with a half-century helped J&K reach 473/6 at Tea, despite Karnataka making a comeback with two wickets. Wadhwan also impressed with a quick fifty in 84 balls before being dismissed at 70. Dogra, who scored a fifty off 150 balls, was eventually bowled out by Shreyas Gopal.
