In a video, Saifullah Kasuri, Deputy Chief of Lashkar-e-Toiba, revealed receiving regular invitations from the Pakistan Army to attend events and lead funeral prayers for soldiers. Kasuri, linked to the Pahalgam terror attack in 2025, taunted India during a school event in Pakistan.
His presence was stated to intimidate India, with Kasuri boasting about his notoriety and issuing provocative threats. The LeT leader’s acknowledgment of military invitations contradicts Pakistan’s claims of cracking down on terrorist groups operating within its borders.
The Pahalgam attack, attributed to LeT-linked terrorists, led to India’s Operation Sindoor in May 2025, targeting terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Kasuri, also known as Sajid Saifullah Jatt or Khalid, defended LeT’s actions and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to the “Kashmir mission.”
