Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been moved to the ICU at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Jalil Parkar confirmed the admission and provided an update on Khan’s condition. Salim Khan, known as the father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, was brought to the hospital early in the morning by their family doctor Sandeep Chopra.
Tomorrow at 11:00 am, a press bulletin will be released with the consent of the relatives to provide further details on Salim Khan’s health. He is currently stable but is closely monitored. Salman Khan, along with other family members, was seen visiting the hospital earlier in the day.
Salim Khan, who started his career in the 1950s in Mumbai, transitioned from acting to screenwriting. He later formed a successful screenwriting partnership with Javed Akhtar, known as Salim–Javed. Their collaborations produced several iconic Bollywood films between 1971 and 1982, setting new standards for Indian cinema.
