Hollywood director Sam Raimi has stayed true to his word by casting Rachel McAdams in a new project. Raimi, who previously collaborated with McAdams in the MCU, was eager to work with her again. In the upcoming film “Send Help,” McAdams takes on a more intriguing role.

In an interview with Total Film, Raimi praised McAdams’ talent, describing her as a brilliant actress who he felt was underutilized. He expressed his determination to collaborate with her once more, emphasizing her warmth and exceptional acting skills.

McAdams, known for her role as Dr. Christine Palmer in “Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” will portray a dark and surprising character in “Send Help.” Producer Zainab Azizi highlighted McAdams’ departure from her usual roles, hinting at a captivating performance that will astonish audiences.

“Send Help” follows the story of Linda (played by Rachel McAdams) and her boss Bradley (portrayed by Dylan O’Brien) as they navigate a harrowing ordeal after a plane crash leaves them stranded on an uninhabited island. The film aims to keep viewers on edge by subverting expectations, transforming a beloved character into a menacing antagonist.

The thriller “Send Help” is currently showing in cinemas and is on course to dominate the box office in its second week, facing competition from the Super Bowl weekend.
