Ahead of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 (SANJY), J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat led a security review meeting in Srinagar. The meeting aimed to evaluate and bolster security measures for the smooth and safe conduct of the pilgrimage.
Key officials including Special DGP Coordination J&K S.J.M. Gillani and various other high-ranking officers attended the meeting. The focus was on maintaining a high state of readiness, enhancing surveillance, and ensuring coordination to safeguard sensitive locations.
Emphasizing the use of modern security technologies, the DGP stressed the importance of close monitoring and efficient deployment of personnel along Yatra routes. The meeting also addressed the need for effective disaster management and contingency planning to ensure a secure pilgrimage experience.
