Shooting has officially started in Kochi for the much-anticipated pan-Indian action thriller ‘Operation Tral’, directed by Ratheesh Vega and featuring Jayasurya in the lead role. The film, inspired by true events, aims to expand the reach of Malayalam cinema to a wider audience across India.
The launch event took place at Crowne Plaza Kochi, signaling the beginning of a patriotic and intelligence-driven cinematic venture with extensive action sequences. Notable personalities from the film industry graced the event, which saw Jain George Thadathil initiating the ceremony and Bobby, a renowned screenwriter, giving the first clap.
Jayasurya, known for his versatile roles, leads the cast, which includes Rithika Singh, Amyra Dastur, and other prominent actors. ‘Operation Tral’ will be shot in various locations such as Kerala, Coimbatore, New Delhi, and Ladakh, with its storyline revolving around national intelligence operations and the sacrifices made in the line of duty.
