Royals Purulia struggled with the bat, managing only 107 runs before being bowled out in 18.2 overs, with Lokesh (48) and Mithilesh Das (23) being the top scorers. Rohit Kumar’s 4/24 and support from Shahbaz Ahmed (2/31) and Sukhmeet Singh (2/7) led the Tigers’ bowling attack.
In response, Rarh Tigers comfortably chased down the target, reaching 110/3 in just 12.1 overs. Sumanta Gupta’s unbeaten 47 off 31 balls and Shahbaz’s quick 31 off 20 deliveries guided their team to victory. The partnership between the two players was crucial as Shrachi Rarh Tigers sealed their final berth in a dominant display.
The second semifinal will feature Servotech Siliguri Strikers against Sobisco Smashers Malda, promising an exciting clash between the tournament’s top run-scorer and leading wicket-taker. The Bengal T20 League, organized by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), is a franchise-based T20 competition now in its third season, with eight city-based teams competing in men’s and women’s categories. Men’s matches take place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, while women’s matches are held at the JU Salt Lake Campus, Kolkata.
