Actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu, revealed that he has been filming continuously at night for over two months for director Vetrimaran’s upcoming action film ‘Arasan’. This rigorous schedule has left his body clock officially confused, as he humorously shared on his Instagram stories.
Simbu had resumed shooting for ‘Arasan’ in April this year after a hiatus due to a disagreement with producer Ishari K Ganesh. The current shooting schedule is taking place in Chennai and is expected to be extensive, with actors Yogi Babu and Priyanka Arul Mohan also participating.
The first schedule of the film, which was initially filmed in Kovilpatti, concluded on December 21 last year. ‘Arasan’ has generated significant anticipation as it marks the first collaboration between Simbu and director Vetri Maran. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film has also cast Vijay Sethupathi, adding to the excitement.
Simbu’s film with Vetrimaran will also star Samuthirakani, Andrea Jeremiah, and Kishore in pivotal roles, with music composed by Anirudh.
