Singer Jankee Parekh, wife of actor Nakuul Mehta, recently shared an emotional moment on social media. She donated 90 packets of her stored breast milk to a milk bank for NICU babies, marking the start of her donation journey. Jankee expressed mixed emotions and described the deep attachment she had to the milk she had diligently collected over months.
Jankee revealed that since her daughter Rumi’s birth, she had consistently pumped breast milk every day. Despite the effort and dedication involved in storing the milk, she decided it was time to donate. Rumi, now nine months old, still breastfeeds happily while also enjoying solid foods, prompting Jankee to make the donation.
Reflecting on the significance of the donated milk, Jankee emphasized that it represented discipline, effort, and love. She marveled at the ability of women’s bodies to provide nourishment not only for their own babies but also for others. The gesture received praise from various television celebrities, with many commending Jankee’s generosity and emotional strength.
In a touching moment captured in photos, Jankee was seen tearfully packing the 90 milk packets in a container, visibly moved by the experience. She also shared a picture kissing her daughter Rumi, showcasing the bond between them. Jankee and Nakuul Mehta, who married in 2012, welcomed their first child, son Sufi, in 2021, and later celebrated the arrival of daughter Rumi in 2025.
