In a disturbing incident in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, police have uncovered the murder of Tuleshwar Nonia, where his son is suspected of orchestrating the crime to secure a job on compassionate grounds. Three individuals, including the son Vijay Nonia, have been apprehended in connection with the case, as confirmed by SP, Rural, S. Mohammad Yakub.

Vijay Nonia, the deceased’s middle son, allegedly plotted his father’s murder to gain employment at Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) through the compassionate appointment scheme after his father’s demise. It was revealed during the investigation that he brokered a deal amounting to Rs 10 lakh to carry out the murder, with the assistance of the other two accused, executing the plan meticulously.

Authorities disclosed that the case was cracked based on technical evidence, thorough interrogation, and additional investigative leads, indicating premeditated planning and execution of the crime. The incident was brought to light on June 20 when police were alerted about a body found near bushes along the PCC road, subsequently identifying the victim as Tuleshwar Nonia, a BCCL employee.

SP, Rural, Yakub emphasized that the investigation pointed towards familial and financial motives behind the murder, leading to the arrest of all three suspects. Legal procedures are ongoing, with investigations continuing to determine if others were involved in the conspiracy to kill Nonia.
