Special spiritual and cultural programs are scheduled to take place at Devi Mandirs and Shakti Peethas across Uttar Pradesh on March 25, 26, and 27 during Chaitra Navratri. These events will feature bhakti geet, bhajans, Paath of Durga Saptashati, Shakti worship, and various cultural performances. The Department of Culture is making arrangements for these events, with artists already selected for the programs and coordination established with local administrations.

The state government’s ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign, aimed at ensuring the safety, respect, and self-reliance of women, will see the participation of women in various cultural programs across Uttar Pradesh. Preparations have been finalized for events at major temples and Shakti Peethas in the state following the Chief Minister’s directives.

On Saptami, Ashtami, and Navami, programs will be held at significant sites including Maa Vindhyavasini Devi, Jwala Devi, Sita Samahit Sthal, Alopi Devi, Kadavasini, Pateshwari Devi, Lalita Devi, Shakumbhari Devi, Katyayani Devi, Maa Sheetla Chaukiya Dham, Belha Devi, Chandika Devi, Vishalakshi Devi, Devkali Temple, Maa Tarkulha Devi Dham, Maa Sheetla Sthal, Lalita Devi, Maa Shivani Devi, Gayatri Shakti Peeth, Bairagarh Mata, Kushmanda Devi, Sheetla Mata Temple, Chamunda Mata Temple, Beehad Mata Temple, Chandrika Devi Temple, and Sankata Devi Temple. Public participation in these spiritual and cultural events has been emphasized by the state government.

Authorities have been instructed to ensure that necessary arrangements are in place on time with the support of local administration, police, and municipal bodies. The programs will also be aligned with the Mission Shakti campaign, with folk artists, bhajan groups, and kirtan mandalis already selected for performances. Devotees are expected to visit temples like Devipatan Temple, Shakumbhari Devi Temple, and Vindhyavasini Dham, and local administrations have been tasked with ensuring devotees’ safety and convenience.

The Culture Department has been directed to ensure completion of all preparations in coordination with local authorities within the specified timeframe.
