Sri Lanka opts to bat against Zimbabwe in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match

Sri Lanka chose to bat after winning the toss against Zimbabwe in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Group B match at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka emphasized the importance of their batsmen putting up a good score. Shanaka mentioned changes in the lineup due to injuries and praised the team’s fielding and overall performance.

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza expressed confidence in his bowlers, considering the playing conditions. Raza highlighted the team’s goal of restricting Sri Lanka to a low score. He also emphasized the significance of topping the group and building winning habits for the team. Both teams were geared up for a competitive match in the tournament.
