The Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) has been rocked by two disturbing cases of domestic violence where stepfathers allegedly killed their young stepsons. In one incident in Northeast Delhi, a 12-year-old boy named Altamash was found murdered in a forested area. The boy’s stepfather is accused of luring him away from school and brutally attacking him.
The victim’s mother disclosed that the suspect had previously threatened her children, a warning she had not taken seriously. The stepfather allegedly brought the boy home from school and killed him, even informing the mother via a video call after the crime. The victim’s brother discovered the body after the suspect shared a photo in the early hours.
In another incident in Faridabad, Haryana, a man was arrested for the fatal beating of his two-year-old stepson. The toddler, one of three children from his mother’s previous marriage, was subjected to severe physical abuse by the stepfather. The child was beaten so severely on the day of the incident that he lost consciousness and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Police investigations revealed that the child’s body displayed multiple injury marks consistent with a prolonged and violent assault. Legal action is being pursued against the accused in both cases, with the communities demanding strict justice for the tragic incidents.
