Stranded Passengers from Jeddah Return to India Amid West Asia Tensions

Hundreds of stranded passengers from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, have safely returned to India amidst the ongoing tensions in West Asia. Emotional scenes unfolded at Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat as passengers expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government for their safe repatriation.

Many of the passengers had been stuck in Jeddah due to flight disruptions caused by the regional situation. Upon landing in Ahmedabad, returnees shared their experiences of anxiety and uncertainty while waiting to come back home. One passenger described the situation in Jeddah as war-like, expressing constant worries about their return to India.

Another passenger praised the support received from Indian embassy officials abroad during the challenging period. The passengers acknowledged the government’s efforts in arranging a special flight for their return, emphasizing the crucial assistance provided. Expressing relief and gratitude, they thanked the authorities for ensuring their safe journey back to India.

Several passengers specifically mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their interventions and assistance. They appreciated the government’s prompt actions and expressed happiness at being back in their homeland without facing any difficulties. Overall, the returning passengers conveyed a strong sense of relief and appreciation for the support received during their journey home.
