Actor Suniel Shetty became emotional while discussing his son Ahan Shetty’s progress in the film industry. Ahan faced a setback after his first film “Tadap” in 2021. Suniel expressed pride in Ahan’s second project, “Border 2,” considering it a significant opportunity.
Suniel and Ahan recently attended the launch of the song “Jaate Hue Lamhon,” part of the film “Border.” Suniel, visibly moved, emphasized the importance of Ahan’s role in “Border 2.” He highlighted the responsibility and courage portrayed by the characters in the film, urging Ahan to perform with dedication.
Reflecting on Ahan’s journey, Suniel mentioned a challenging phase post his debut film. Despite assumptions about star kids having it easy, Ahan encountered professional difficulties. Suniel expressed gratitude for Ahan landing “Border 2,” considering it a substantial film opportunity. He hoped Ahan would excel in his role and the film would resonate with the audience.
“Border 2,” set during the 1971 war and based on true events, is produced by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in collaboration with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The movie, directed by Anurag Singh, boasts a strong production team. Scheduled for release on January 23, the film follows the success of J.P. Dutta’s acclaimed “Border” from 1997, featuring a stellar cast.
