The Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, criticized the Trinamool Congress for engaging in acts of vandalism targeted at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in various Assembly constituencies. Adhikari shared a video on social media showing Trinamool Congress activists erasing BJP wall writings in the Behala Purba Assembly Constituency.
Adhikari expressed concern over the deliberate erasure of BJP wall writings by Trinamool Congress members in specific booths of the Behala Purba Assembly Constituency. He condemned such actions as an attempt to stifle opposition voices in a democratic country, indirectly pointing towards Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Highlighting the resilience of BJP’s ideals among the people, Adhikari emphasized that the support and love of the public are the party’s greatest assets. He asserted that the people will respond to injustices through the democratic process of voting, vowing to resist the politics of terror in West Bengal.
Adhikari has previously taken to social media to expose incidents of vandalism by Trinamool Congress activists targeting the BJP. In a recent video, Trinamool Congress members were seen destroying and burning BJP flags in the Bhabanipur Assembly constituency, represented by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
