T20 Mumbai League Season 4 and Inaugural Women’s League Set for June at Wankhede Stadium

The T20 Mumbai League season 4 and the first-ever T20 Mumbai Women’s League are scheduled to take place from June 1 to 13 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, as announced by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). Both men’s and women’s competitions will run concurrently, showcasing established cricket stars and emerging talents from Mumbai. Players like Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Ajinkya Rahane will feature in the men’s league, while the women’s league will include talents like Sayali Satghare and Ira Jadhav.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik emphasized the crucial role of the T20 Mumbai League in nurturing cricket talent in Mumbai and providing a platform for players to perform alongside renowned names in the sport. The decision to host both men’s and women’s tournaments at the Wankhede Stadium underscores MCA’s dedication to expanding opportunities for talent development and broadening the reach of Mumbai cricket. Live telecasts on Star Sports and streaming on JioHotstar will offer players exposure to a national audience and ensure fans enjoy high-quality cricket.

Rajdip Gupta, Chairman of the League Governing Council, highlighted the significance of young cricketers getting the chance to play at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium, viewing it as a pivotal moment in their growth as players. With matches set to be broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed on JioHotstar, players will gain valuable visibility nationwide, promising an engaging and top-notch cricketing experience for fans throughout the tournament.
