Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, spouse of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, recently welcomed a new member into their family, a tiny toy poodle named Imli. Tahira shared endearing moments of Imli on Instagram, showcasing the pup’s playful nature and ability to fit into various objects like trophy cups and school bags. Imli, described as mad, cute, and funny, is the younger sister of their existing pet, Peanut.
Ayushmann Khurrana, known for his recent horror-comedy “Thamma” alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to star in the upcoming film “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” with Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is scheduled for release on May 15, 2026. “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is a sequel to the 2019 movie of the same name, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday.
The plot of “Thamma” revolves around vampires, where Ayushmann portrays a journalist entangled in the power dynamics of vampires played by Rashmika and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is part of the larger Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, interconnected with movies like “Stree,” “Bhediya,” and “Munjya.” Tahira and Ayushmann are also proud pet parents to Peanut, another toy poodle in their family.
