The Tamil film ‘Aatti’, starring Essaki Karvanan and Abi Nakshatra, will now hit screens on June 12 instead of the original date of June 5. The decision to delay the release was made due to unavoidable circumstances, according to sources close to the film’s production team.
Essaki Karvanan, the lead actor and producer, aimed to secure a reasonable number of screens for the film. However, with two recent successful film releases occupying more screens, the team opted to postpone ‘Aatti’ to ensure their desired screen count.
Producer Essaki Karvanan consulted with Suresh Kamatchi, the founder of V House, who then discussed the matter with the film’s distributors before finalizing the decision to delay the release. The rights for the film’s release are held by Suresh Kamatchi.
The film ‘Aatti’ features Essaki Karvanan as a police officer and centers around women’s rights. Alongside Essaki Karvanan and Abi Nakshatra, the movie includes Anand Soundarrajan, Karan Chakravarthy, and others in significant roles. The screenplay is by Thirumurugan, editing by C.M Elangovan, cinematography by Sibi Sadhasivam, and music by Theeson.
