Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is set to visit Madurai on Saturday to kick off various development projects and welfare schemes. His itinerary includes inaugurating a capacity-building facility at ELCOT Technology Park and presiding over the opening of a key section of a major highway project at Thamukkam Maidanam. Stalin will also unveil a statue of the Marudhu Pandiyar brothers, freedom fighters from the region.
At Meenakshi Government Women’s Arts College, the Chief Minister will inaugurate an upgraded computer laboratory to enhance educational resources. He will then head to Vandiyur to inaugurate development works at the Anguran Science Centre and a new office building for the local panchayat. Additionally, a rural drinking-water supply project benefiting 867 households will be officially launched.
Stalin’s schedule includes a visit to the Madurai Guest House and participation in a ruling party event for DMK grassroots workers. The day will wrap up with a programme at the Gandhi Memorial Museum’s Gandhi Mandapam organized by the People’s Justice Forum. The visit highlights the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, education, and rural welfare in Tamil Nadu.
