Amid the ongoing controversy over alleged irregularities in donations to the Ram Temple, Tapaswi Chhawni Jagadguru Paramhansa Acharya emphasized the need for strict action against anyone found guilty of wrongdoing. Stressing the importance of an unbiased investigation, he highlighted the significance of the Ram Mandir as a revered place of faith globally.
Paramhansa Acharya expressed concerns about political influences on the investigation, cautioning against allowing any bias to affect the process. He criticized the Opposition, suggesting that motives beyond genuine concerns may be at play, especially regarding the INDI alliance’s involvement in the matter.
In a related development, Mahant Dinendra Das, a trustee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, visited the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya. During his visit, he offered prayers at various temples within the complex and inspected the donation counting and pilgrim service centers.
The controversy has also led to calls for an independent inquiry from religious leaders in Ayodhya. Siddh Peeth Hanumangarhi Mahant Deveshacharya Ji Maharaj described the issue as “extremely serious and highly sensitive,” emphasizing the need for a fair and impartial investigation, free from any external influences.
The growing political and public debate surrounding allegations of irregularities in donations received by the Ram Temple Trust has sparked demands for transparency and accountability. While some advocate for an independent probe, religious leaders stress the importance of maintaining impartiality in any investigation, given the temple’s profound religious significance for millions of devotees.
