Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the state’s commitment to providing necessary infrastructure and support for establishing industries. He highlighted the importance of investments and job creation in realizing the vision of “Telangana Rising-2047” to boost the state’s economy significantly. Speaking at the inauguration of an Amazon data center in Future City, he emphasized the government’s goal to enhance Telangana’s GDP share from 5% to 10%.
The Chief Minister mentioned plans to facilitate India’s growth to a $30 trillion economy by 2047 under the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ initiative. He assured regular reviews by the state government to streamline the process of industry setup. Specifically addressing Amazon’s investment of Rs 1 lakh crore by 2034, he announced monthly meetings to monitor and support the company’s ventures. Furthermore, he outlined the state’s ambition to develop a cutting-edge city within ‘Future City’ to attract investments from leading global corporations.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the role of major companies like Amazon in paving the way for further industrial development in the region. He recalled the success of the ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ that brought together corporate representatives from various countries. The Chief Minister underscored the state’s commitment to fostering job creation through initiatives like the ‘Young India Skill University’ and emphasized Hyderabad’s transformation into a pollution-free zone through innovative measures like converting diesel vehicles to electric ones.
