Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s convoy moved through regular traffic in Hyderabad, a day after instructing police not to disrupt public movement for his convoy. Returning from New Delhi, the convoy traveled from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to his residence in Jubilee Hills.
The Chief Minister had specifically instructed senior police officials to avoid stopping vehicles in the city for his convoy’s passage, aiming to prevent inconvenience to the public. Traffic police facilitated the movement by allowing vehicles to proceed in a single lane without completely halting traffic.
Emphasizing the need to minimize public inconvenience, the Chief Minister expressed concern over traffic congestion near the airport during his journey to Delhi. He directed the Director General of Police to take action against officials responsible for disruptions and ensure smooth public movement during convoy arrangements.
DGP Anand, following the Chief Minister’s directives, conducted a video conference with law enforcement officers to address the issue seriously and ensure smooth traffic regulation without unnecessary stops or delays for the public.
