Jelena Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo staged a remarkable comeback to clinch the Wimbledon mixed doubles title by defeating Australian pair Storm Hunter and Marc Polmans 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the final. This victory marked Ostapenko’s first Wimbledon title, adding to her previous triumphs at the 2017 French Open singles and the 2024 US Open women’s doubles. Arevalo, on the other hand, became the first player from El Salvador to secure a Wimbledon title and his third Grand Slam title overall.
