Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared his determination to prevent KCR and his family from regaining power. Criticizing former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for recent comments, Revanth Reddy asserted that as long as he is in politics, KCR will not return to power. He even challenged KCR, stating that in a 2029 election with 119 Assembly seats, he would secure 87 seats for the Congress party.
Revanth Reddy further emphasized that the future lies with the Congress party, dismissing the prospects of KCR and his party. He invited KCR to the Assembly for discussions on various issues, including Kaleshwaram and telephone tapping. The Chief Minister also criticized K. T. Rama Rao, challenging his credibility and highlighting family disputes within the BRS leadership.
Asserting that KCR’s recent statements lack substance, Revanth Reddy maintained a dignified stance, emphasizing a focus on constructive governance. He refuted allegations of involvement in illicit activities and accused KCR of hindering the development of certain regions during his tenure. The Chief Minister warned of potential repercussions if provoked, underscoring a commitment to responsible governance.
