Tickets for the Republic Day celebrations in 2026 are now accessible through the Aamantran mobile app, as announced by the Ministry of Defence. The app allows users to purchase tickets for various key events linked to Republic Day, such as the Republic Day Parade on January 26, the full dress rehearsal of the Beating the Retreat ceremony on January 28, and the Beating the Retreat ceremony on January 29.

The Ministry of Defence shared on social media that individuals can buy tickets for the Republic Day Parade on January 26, the Beating the Retreat full dress rehearsal on January 28, and the Beating the Retreat ceremony on January 29 through the Aamantran Mobile App. The app can be downloaded from the government’s official app store at Gov.in, and tickets can also be obtained via the official website, aamantran.mod.gov.in.

Republic Day celebrations commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution on January 26, 1950, and are among the country’s most important national events. The Republic Day Parade, held at Kartavya Path in the national capital, showcases marching contingents, tableaux, and displays by the armed forces and other participants, drawing large crowds of spectators.

The Beating the Retreat ceremony, a traditional event at Vijay Chowk, signifies the formal conclusion of the Republic Day celebrations and includes performances by military bands from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. In recent years, the Ministry of Defence has increasingly utilized digital platforms to enhance access and crowd management for such significant national events.
