Hollywood actor Timothee Chalamet has received his third best actor nomination at the Oscars for his role as Marty Mauser in the film ‘Marty Supreme.’ At 30, he is now the youngest male actor to achieve this feat. Chalamet’s previous nominations were for ‘Call Me by Your Name’ and ‘A Complete Unknown.’
Chalamet is competing in the best actor category against Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, and Wagner Moura. ‘Marty Supreme’ has also been nominated for best picture and best original screenplay. Additionally, Chalamet is nominated for best picture as a producer, making him the youngest person ever to be double-nominated for producing and acting in the same year.
Apart from his acting and producing nominations, Chalamet was also recognized for directing and screenplay. He recently won the Golden Globe for best actor (comedy or musical) for his role in ‘Marty Supreme.’ If he wins the Oscar, Chalamet would become the second youngest best actor winner in history, following Adrien Brody.
