Hollywood actress Tina Fey has stated that there will not be a follow-up to the popular movie ‘Mean Girls’. Fey, who wrote the original 2004 film and was involved in the 2018 spin-off stage musical, emphasized that there are no plans for another installment of the story. Despite the success of ‘Mean Girls’, Fey expressed that there will be no further adaptations or sequels in the future.
Tina Fey, known for her role as Ms. Norbury in the ‘Mean Girls’ franchise, highlighted the importance of portraying realistic characters in the projects. She mentioned that the depth and humanity brought by the actors to their roles have contributed to the enduring popularity of the movie. Fey also shared that she and co-star Tim Meadows agreed to reprise their roles in the musical movie version, with the condition that they would not have to sing.
Reflecting on her collaboration with Tim Meadows, who played Principal Duvall, Tina Fey expressed her enjoyment in working with him again.
