A tragic accident in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in the deaths of three laborers. The incident occurred when a support vehicle accompanying a boring machine accidentally ran over the workers as they were sleeping underneath it. The victims, identified as Ramcharan, Bhanupratap, and Arvind, were from different villages in Chhattisgarh and had come to Pithampur for work.
The police, upon receiving the information, rushed to the scene and seized the vehicle involved in the accident. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination, and the families of the deceased were notified. An investigation was initiated following a complaint lodged by Ramesh Ikka, with preliminary findings suggesting negligence on the part of the driver.
