Seven members from two families, including five minors, tragically lost their lives in separate incidents in Andhra Pradesh. In one case, a man took the lives of his three children before ending his own, while in another, a woman and her two children died by suicide under a train. The heartbreaking events unfolded in Prakasam and Srikakulam districts.
In Prakasam, a man named Ekula Sudhakar, 35, poisoned his three young daughters before hanging himself in Agraharam village. Sudhakar, upset over his wife’s absence, fed poison to his daughters – Gochita, 13, Pujita, 11, and Lokita, 8 – before taking his own life by hanging. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
In a separate incident in Srikakulam district, a woman named Puja, 28, along with her son Kushant, 5, and daughter Dikshitha, 3, died by suicide under a running train. The bodies were discovered on the railway track between Palasa and Talabadra. Puja, who had differences with her husband, is believed to have taken this extreme step due to domestic issues. The police are looking into the matter and have started their inquiries.
