In a significant event, the trailer of the highly anticipated animated movie “Mahaprabhu Jagannath” was launched by spiritual speaker Indresh Upadhyay Maharaj in Cuttack, Odisha. This unveiling took place during his Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in front of a live audience of over 10,000 devotees, marking it as the largest physical trailer launch for an animated film in India.
During the trailer launch, Indresh Upadhyaya Maharaj praised the team and emphasized the importance of introducing the younger generation to their culture. He expressed, “Congratulations to all. In today’s era, it is crucial to connect children with their culture, deities, and traditions. Through ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath,’ they have made a beautiful effort. This is not just a movie but a means to instill devotion and values in the upcoming generation. I invite all families and children to watch this film.”
As the preview played on the screen, the crowd echoed chants of “Jai Jagannath.” “Mahaprabhu Jagannath” is hailed as the first nationwide theatrical animated film centered on Lord Jagannath, featuring top-notch animation that promises excitement and appeal for children.
Directed by Shripad Warkhedkar, the project boasts screenplay and dialogues by Pallavi Sharma, with music composed by Aviral Kumar. The film is set to release on 10th July in Hindi, Odia, and Telugu languages.
