Trinamool Congress MP Dola Sen expressed indifference towards exit polls, emphasizing that her party does not pay heed to such projections. Sen highlighted the repeated nature of exit polls in previous years and asserted the unwavering stance of Trinamool Congress under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership.

Sen acknowledged the BJP’s strong desire to win in Bengal and their ambitious outlook, fueled by extensive efforts in the ongoing election. Despite the BJP’s aspirations, Sen remained firm in her belief that their dreams would not come to fruition, reiterating Bengal’s allegiance to Mamata Banerjee.

Fellow Trinamool MP, Saugata Roy, also questioned the credibility of exit polls, citing past inaccuracies in their methodology and outcomes. Meanwhile, Matrize exit polls suggested significant gains for the BJP in the West Bengal Assembly elections, projecting a substantial number of seats and a notable vote share for the party.
