Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha praised the state’s advancement in effectively executing development initiatives, attributing it to the existing peaceful environment. He emphasized the government’s dedication to ensuring good governance and fostering industrial growth through specialized policies.
Speaking at the release of the ‘Strategic Approach to Industrial Development Roadmap’ by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the Tripura Institute of Transformation War Room, Chief Minister Saha expressed confidence that the roadmap would significantly boost long-term industrial progress in Tripura. He highlighted the prioritization of sectors like rubber, bamboo, and food processing for industrial development.
Chief Minister Saha underscored Tripura’s proactive stance in implementing the Central government’s vision document programs, stating that the state’s rapid development would contribute to the nation’s overall progress. He acknowledged the growing interest of external investors in establishing industries in Tripura, crediting the ADB’s industrial development roadmap for attracting investments.
Additionally, Chief Minister Saha recognized the Asian Development Bank’s support as pivotal in reshaping Tripura’s industrial landscape, aiming to leverage the state’s resources for accelerated growth. The event was attended by Asian Development Bank Country Director Mio Oka, Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Secretary Kiran Gitte, and other senior officials.
