Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss various developmental issues, including setting up an AIIMS in the state. They also talked about extending the National Highway and enhancing road connectivity in specific districts.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Saha highlighted key concerns related to Tripura’s development, such as expanding the dairy industry, improving sports infrastructure, and boosting railway connectivity. He also addressed housing schemes, educational facilities, and resource allocation for tribal communities.
Apart from development matters, Chief Minister Saha and PM Modi delved into organizational strategies for grassroots-level progress and governance enhancement. Saha expressed optimism about the state’s advancement under Modi’s leadership through collaborative efforts between the central and state governments.
Chief Minister Saha commended the impact of flagship initiatives like Digital India and Swachh Bharat Mission in improving livelihoods nationwide. He praised Modi’s leadership for advancing infrastructure and elevating India’s global standing. The leaders also discussed various other critical issues concerning Tripura’s development and welfare.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Saha lauded Prime Minister Modi for his 12 years of service to the nation and congratulated him on the BJP’s success in the West Bengal Assembly elections.
