Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha shared the state’s development priorities and growth vision at an interactive session with NITI Aayog, attended by officials including Vice Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri. Saha expressed gratitude for NITI Aayog’s support and highlighted Tripura’s Vision Document, aiming for a future-ready state through governance improvements and resource optimization.

Under Saha’s leadership, Tripura has seen progress in governance reforms, digital transformation, and investment promotion, securing top ranks in deregulation and compliance reduction. Efforts to strengthen institutional frameworks have enhanced policymaking and public service delivery, with a focus on regional connectivity and sector-specific development.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for improved connectivity, Agartala’s development as an AI City, and Tripura’s potential in sectors like pharmaceuticals and natural fibers. Seeking support for infrastructure projects, Saha highlighted achievements in healthcare, including a decline in Infant Mortality Rate and the push for an AIIMS in Agartala. He also proposed sports infrastructure upgrades and a North East Cycling Race for regional integration and economic growth.
